http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/jan/13/protesters-students-uk-megan-thomas

This article is about of a student that she was photographed in middle of a student protest, and the picture show a girl protecting a police van in London, but she say that this picture is a set-up.

The history happen in a student protest about the rise in tuition fees, where Megan participated with a group of friends, in the place she saw a police van had been left in the middle of the kettle and it was very quite strange because the stuff in the van was clearly not modern equipment and to had a group of policemen leave it and stand a few metres away, arms folded.

Megan knew what would happen because to had photographers waiting photographer to students guys smashing in the windscreen and they can to say that the student protest are violent, for this Megan decided to stop to persons for that the photographers don’t take photos and then they take this photo that is a set-up.

“I wasn't doing it for attention. I wasn't trying to represent the protest. I just wanted to stop it from being portrayed negatively”.

“We didn't get what we wanted, but I don't think the student protests were a failure”

  2. Yriangel I don't understand much about the news, but anyway I very much agree with the student protests, and I think when one is in the protests must take care as best we can, because the police has no compassion.

    See you on Friday!
